- My friend Bill Melody, who is a country musician and Radio Host of The Country Music Hall at WBCB 1490 AM in Bucks County, PA has written and published a new book "When Country Was Gold In the Delaware Valley." It is a straight forward account of the people and places that helped make country music a popular art form in Philadelphia and its surrounding area for nearly three decades before the music finally faded from view. Visit his website (www.billmelody.com) to purchase this exciting new book. And make sure to listen to Bill's show online at wbcb1490.com, which airs on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings!

- Website of Author Elaine Klonicki
- Another of my talented friends, author Elaine Klonicki, has written a touching book called, " All on Account of You: A True WWII Love Story
1942." It's actually a glimpse (via many loveletters) into the love story of Bill and Angie, Elaine's parents. It recalls the story of Angie Courtney, a spirited young woman realizing her dream. She is living in a girls’ club in New York City, studying fashion design. Bill Luddy, a boy she left behind in her hometown of Altoona, PA, is now a Ninety-day Wonder stationed on a Navy ship docked on the Hudson Bay. They begin dating each other again in 1942 during his officers' training and he wins her heart through his daily love letters.
Also, please write to Elaine on her website and request a copy of my personal favorite of Elaine's, "Captured Words." I read this every week, and find something new or touching each time. - Indie Music For Life
